Silane modified acrylics
Silanized acrylic binders are silane enhanced aqueous dispersions of acrylates and styrene for use in super hydrophobic coatings. Thus, you can achieve a water beading effect with silane and silicate paints or develop super hydrophobic paints with very low water absorption.
