The history timeline of our company

The future

Since its foundation in 1905, IMPARAT Farbwerk has been an independent, innovative private company. Today it is managed in the 4th generation by the owner and managing director Till Iversen.

We develop, produce and market architectural and industrial coatings as well as binders as the central raw material for paint production.

With 180 employees, 2 production sites and 17 branches, we achieve an annual turnover of over 35 million euros.

We live our guiding principle "customer-oriented, quality-conscious, sustainable and efficient" every day anew - as a reliable partner to our customers and suppliers.

    The new filling line

The installation of a new, fully automatic filling line in February 2001 enables us to more than double our previous output. The tanks with a capacity of over 100,000 liters can be completely filled within an 8-hour shift.

The state-of-the-art plant with integrated pigging technology ensures the highest standards of quality assurance and hygiene.

    1999-2001

    The optimized storage system

Through rebuilding measures and investments in state-of-the-art storage technology in the years 1999 - 2001, the goal of faster picking as well as a significant increase in capacity was achieved.

Picking racks provide fixed storage locations for fast retrieval.

The PLC-controlled mobile racking system offers the most compact storage form for reserve pallets. Each rack slide moves up to 190 tons at the touch of a button.

Drive-in racks provide fast storage and retrieval of products with high turnover rates.

    The modern production

The establishment of a fully automatically controlled dispersion paint production in 1994 not only resulted in a major increase in capacity.

Thanks to the silo stocking system, hundreds of thousands of paper bags with residual adhesions are avoided as waste each year.

At the same time, production was largely dust-free and quality assurance and job health and safety were increased.

In addition, both the raw materials warehouse and the finished goods warehouse were expanded by one hall each.
